Business Process Analyst

Objective

 

To apply program management expertise to drive focus on enterprise-wide business process improvements that generate revenue and drive margin improvements; driving large-scale global projects and initiatives, lead cross-functional teams focused on the delivery of new workflow features and tools that enhance productivity, open capacity at a faster rate and secure standards.

 

 

Role description

 

  • The Business Process Analyst need a deep background in process engineering, Lean, Six Sigma, Stakeholder and Project Management skill sets. This position will evaluate, design, measure, monitor, control and govern business processes by utilizing various methods and tools to optimize systems across Operations, Quality and/or Supply Chain functions.
  • This position will analyze process requirements, formulate feasible options, develop recommendations, gain stakeholder alignment and implement solutions.
  • This position will lead cross-functional teams to achieve objectives through optimization, standardization, or automation also will engage others in training and change management initiatives.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive accountability for the realization of cost savings and other business performance metrics, ensuring success of programs.

o Collaborating with cross-functional organizations to identify and implement projects with the highest business value.

o Ensuring proper Key Performance Indicators are set and measured to determine the impact of  process changes.

 

  • Provide recommendations for processes which can be streamlined and/or made more efficient.

o Organize, plan and lead Kaizen and Value Stream Mapping events to recognize process flow improvement opportunities.

o Able to dive deep with data to identify root causes to problems to anticipate, identify, track and resolve business issues and risks.

o Collaborate to identify efficiencies within the data transformation process which will ensure that end-users are delivered the relevant content data in the right formats for use.

 

  • Assess business’s impacts of applying Robotics Process Automation to a process.

 

  • Being recognized as part of the go-to organization that owns, manages and leads business process improvements.

o Superhead necessary change management and implementation associated with process improvement.

o Communicate achievements, issues, and risks to senior leaders and key stakeholders.

o Serve as a liaison between functional operational groups and support functions (Finance, Operations, IT, etc.).

o Drive change through key stakeholders and facilitate alignment across regions and functional groups to remove roadblocks.

 

  • Leading initiatives that leverage technology and people to drive continuous improvement.

o Drive innovative thinking and motivate others to identify new ideas for the pipeline.

 

  • Demonstrating the benefits of advanced business processes and training others on new applications.

o Facilitate information sessions and implementation debrief and any other sessions necessary  for an effective process improvement initiative.

o Mentor team in process improvement methodology and best practices.

Experience & education

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in a business discipline.
  • 2+ years of experience in a related technical IT, Operations, Quality; Significant Experience with Business Systems and Process Design.
  • Previous leadership experience.
  • Project Management certification or equivalent with demonstrated skills.
  • Proficient in MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, MS Project, and various analysis tools
  • Lean, Six Sigma certification with at least 2 years related experience will be an advantage (Black Belt or Green Belt).
  • Work experience with an RPA tool.
  • Global/Multi-country payroll expertise.
  • Ability to influence and consult (providing options with pros, cons and risks) around all key technical decisions during project delivery.
  • Project management, organization and problem-solving skills with a drive for results and the ability to handle multiple tasks.
  • Extensive experience in process transformation/improvement including but not limited to any of the following core areas: Engineering, Human Resources, Finance and Accounting, Strategy Development, Operations, Marketing/Sales, Information Technology, Data Mining, Project Management etc.
  • Ability to identify and extract appropriate data sets from various systems – proficient in designing, collecting and analyzing large data set.
