iiPay has a unique opportunity for a highly experienced and motivated Data & Analytics Engineer who wants to work closely with external clients and internal stakeholders to understand their needs to help drive to our goal of ‘Paying the Planet’.
Role overview
Our highly motivated and engaged team members are at the heart of our success! As a Data & Analytics Engineer, you will be responsible for requirements gathering and technical analysis functions for data analytics. You will need to use your knowledge and expertise to apply strong analytical and modelling skills, alongside a good attention to detail to ensure quality products are delivered in line with project priorities. This will include the maintenance and development of our data platform, data collection, processing, transforming, and modelling. You will play a key role in shaping the technical direction of our platform and our approach to data. You will bring robust engineering practises, along with hands-on experience of building scalable and reusable infrastructure and data platforms.
The successful applicant will ideally have experience in payroll or a related financial field and should have experience of working with software development teams. You should have extensive experience of data & analytics engineering to support the delivery of powerful insights into our business, as well as having the flexibility to apply themselves to other roles and responsibilities when required. The successful applicant will be highly motivated and manage their work to meet business deadlines in the rapidly evolving environment of a growing business. You will have a demonstrated ability to see beyond the current challenges or obstacles and have an ability to focus on “what’s possible”.
