Director of Alliances and Partnerships (Remote)

iiPay has a unique opportunity for a highly experienced and motivated Director of Alliance and Partnership who wants to build, own and manage our strategic alliance and partnerships to help drive to our goal of ‘Paying the Planet’.

 

Role Overview

 

The Director of Alliances and Partnerships is responsible for the execution of the defined global alliance and partner strategy.  The responsibilities include building relationships with partners and aggressively drive new business wins.  Continual management and reporting on each relationship will be expected with recommended initiatives to make improvements where necessary.  Collaboration will be critical to promoting alliance partnerships and major milestones to help support and build awareness in the market.  Travel to meet with partners will be required with up to 65% of the time being spent travelling.

Requirements:
  • Create, define and execute the global strategic partner and alliance strategy prioritizing target markets to ensure the assigned quota is achieved
  • Support sales by driving and establishing field level connections with external partners to drive new business wins and contribute to overall iiPay growth.
  • Analyse opportunities and utilize creative Problem Solving to finds win-win opportunities for iiPay and potential partners
  • Develops persuasive business cases and manages multiple projects simultaneously to successful completion.
  • Driving incremental revenue through our partner ecosystem
  • Creates the quarterly strategic plan regarding Partners and provides updates to iiPay leadership
  • Develop pipeline of opportunities through direct contact or from leads generated by the field
  • Develop metrics to measure the ROI for partnerships and alliances
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activities in order to identify potential opportunities for new partnerships
  • Promotes and trains partners of iiPay solution and services to help partners Identify, coordinates, and tracks leads through iiPay field sales team
  • Building effective relationships with Sales, Marketing, Supply Chain, Operations, Professional Services, Finance and Treasury will be essential

 

What are we looking for in you?

 

  • 5 years of strategic partner management or new business development
  • Superior verbal and written communication skills, and a natural penchant for storytelling
  • Ability to develop compelling value propositions that demonstrate a win-win partnership
  • Results-orientated individual focused on supporting incremental new business bookings revenue
  • Exceptional negotiation skills are a must
  • Excellent planning, organization and leadership skills
  • Track record of successful working in a matrix environment
  • Strategic thinker, who is also execution oriented; ideally has experience driving cross functional programs or processes
  • Effective at building relationships (internally and with partner), collaborating, and influencing others; experience working with senior executives/ partners in cross-company projects
  • Software industry domain expertise, and the ability to understand complex technology problems
