iiPay has a unique opportunity for a highly experienced and motivated EMEA Business Development Manager who wants to support and drive new business revenue to help drive to our goal of ‘Paying the Planet’.


Role Overview


Our highly motivated and engaged team members are at the heart of our success!  The successful candidate is responsible for prospecting and creating new opportunities across the EMEA region.  The successful candidate will be responsible for driving new leads through successful multi-country payroll opportunity wins.  The individual will be a self-motivated with a desire to exceed targets.


  • Define market and sales plans including the mapping of the key players and the market segmentations to ensure successful penetration of the EMEA market for 2020 and beyond.
  • Obtain the set new business revenue targets for the European territory.
  • Navigate and manage complex solution sales opportunities with multi-touch communication programs.
  • A proven track record of working to extended sales cycles, minimum of 4 months.
  • Support the growth of the business and coordinate with existing clients.
  • Manage and coordinate formal bids to ensure on point execution of the sales process and clear messaging of iiPAY’s proposition to the end client.
  • Collaborate with demand generation and marketing to ensure territory specific campaigns are created and executed to allow continual growth of the pipeline.
  • Increase the company brand exposure by participating to exhibitions and other industry events.
  • Line management of 1 team member.


What are we looking for in you?


Excellent communication, written and interpersonal skills along with a dynamic approach are essential to succeed in this role.  The successful candidate will be results orientated and have a self-starter mentality.  The individual will need to demonstrate the following:


  • Minimum of 10 years’ experience working in solution sales across the EMEA region with a proven track record against their individual target
    • Experience in cloud technology and solution sales
  • Desired: knowledge and experience of working in the global payroll marketplace
  • Demonstrated the ability create new markets or territories in previous roles
  • Ability to matrix manage key personnel across the business to support any client engagements
  • Demonstrate the ability to self-sufficient through the sales process within territory
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Formal sales training relating to solution sales and complex deal negotiations
  • Language (desired)
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience working in a solutions sale’s role in the EMEA region with a proven track record and the ability to illustrate the candidate has exceeded personal targets
