iiPay has a unique opportunity for a highly experienced and motivated Implementation Team Lead, who wants to be part of this rapidly expanding business. The successful candidate will need to understand what a growing implementation team requires to deliver and go beyond our client’s expectations/needs, as well as ensuring we achieve iiPay’s goal of ‘Paying the Planet’.

 

Role Overview

 

Our highly motivated and engaged team members are at the heart of our success! This role leads one of Implementation teams that work alongside our project management team to configure and deliver international payroll implementations for our global client base.

 

As the leader of an implementation team you will ensure your team have all required equipment, skills and motivation to ensure we delight our customers through their payroll implementation programme. You will work closely with every department within iiPay to ensure the technical requirements are understood and everyone is aligned for an accurate and timely delivery. You will be empowered to lead your team with the support of the Implementation Manager, to ensure all implementation teams work with the same drive and determination for delivery of our project work to the highest possible standard.

 

You will act as the first line of engagement for our customers beyond the project team, representing the iiPay management group across the customer portfolio your team are delivering.

 

Although you will not have allocated client work yourself, where work demands dictate, you should be ready and equipped to assist your team, as well as the wider project team with any task that aids iiPay to proactively breakdown project blockers and move forward efficiently and effectively, delighting our customers.

 

 Key Responsibilities

 

  • Coaching – Lead the team in on-boarding new starters into the organisation, guiding those less experienced through the iiPay process and supporting them through their first projects.
  • Knowledge – Demonstrate an in-depth knowledge of outsourced payroll solutions across the world, to enable you to lead the team in making informed decisions to drive our projects forward.
  • Lead Innovation – Champion innovation within your team and the wider organisation. Leading the maintenance of a proactive change culture within the Implementation department.
  • Motivator – Inhabit a positive outlook in developing all around you, working through challenges together and celebrate successes. Pro-actively contribute to a positive, cohesive, ‘one team’ environment within iiPay, with our In-Country Partner network and our clients.
  • Escalations – Resolve escalations within your team’s project work before the issue requires the attention of the Implementation Manager. Ensuring our client satisfaction is constantly improving and adapting to the ever-changing payroll world.
  • Team Leadership – You will encourage and lead your team in working to the iiPay core values. Completing all 121’s, staff absence management, career development, appraisals and recruitment.
  • Capacity Planning ­– The team’s capacity to complete work will be essential for you to monitor and manage through proactive communication with the rest of the leadership team. You will ensure we have the right resources and the right amount of resources in place to deliver to and exceed our customers’ expectations.
  • Developer –You will be tasked with supporting each of your team members in defining their career path within the organisation, allowing each member of your team to realise their potential.
  • Recognition – As well completing tailored performance management for each of your team members, you will also ensure you proactively recognise and reward your team members based on feedback from external and internal customers.
  • Deliverer – You will take overall responsibility of ensuring your team deliver or beat our organisational objectives on ‘on-time delivery’ of your teams allocated projects.
  • Relationship Builder – You will engage collaboratively with the management team of your clients to ensure any project blockers are removed, allowing iiPay to deliver not just on-time projects but to deliver delighted customers over to our Operations team with a strong ‘in partnership’ relationship built with the customer.
  • Team Player – Where required you will be prepared to complete implementation duties yourself, picking up tasks in the absence of a team member or adding your support when timelines require a quick turnaround.
  • Quality Expert – You will lead the team in the review and development of quality measures across the iiPay implementation process. Ensuring all members of your team are following the designed process and constantly looking for ways we can work more efficiently or deliver an even higher standard of service for our customers.

Requirements:

What we are looking for in you

 

  • Ability and confidence in leading a team to breakdown complex data driven actions/queries into achievable objectives, ensuring iiPay meet our deadlines and delight our customers.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to manage time critical tasks and to assign. responsibilities to your team to ensure delivery.
  • Experience of leading individuals and teams through payroll implementation projects.
  • Experience of working with international clients both small and large (FTSE & Fortune 500), demonstrating the ability to communicate clearly and gain trust with your client contacts.
  • Highly motivated and driven professional individual with a proven track record of leading and developing others.
  • Experience of working within a regulated (ISAE 3402 / SSAE 16) service delivery environment
  • Natural leader, being able to motivate those around you and deliver on objectives within a time pressured environment.

 

The successful applicant will ideally have experience in payroll or human capital management implementation. They should have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent communication abilities, both verbal and written, and possess a keen attention to detail.

 

They will be required to work in a global environment, with clients that have an expectation of service excellence. They should be able to demonstrate strong leadership skills to maintain and grow a highly motivated, ambitious and creative implementation team.
