iiPay has a unique opportunity for a highly experienced and motivated Senior Implementation Consultant for the UK, who wants to be part of this rapidly expanding business, understanding the client’s and iiPay’s requirements to develop and deploy an optimised payroll implementation process for all our UK implementations.

 

Role Overview

 

Our highly motivated and engaged team members are at the heart of our success! The implementation team works alongside the project management team to configure and deliver all in-house and ICP assisted payrolls around the world.

 

The role involves working closely with every department within iiPay to ensure the technical requirements are understood and everyone is aligned for an accurate and timely delivery. The successful candidate for the role will master the in-house global reporting tool and the needs of our in-house payroll engines focusing on the UK, to design and deliver efficiency gains within the UK’s implementation process, automating our methodology to its optimum level.

 

You will focus on the UK implementation process, to master iiPay’s best in class in-house country processes and replicate the processes and technical solutions, wherever possible, across all our in-house and international implementations. The role will retain responsibilities to deliver UK client implementations, alongside driving process improvement initiatives within our UK implementation methods. On occasion you may be allocated an international implementation, to aid iiPay’s overall implementation objectives, as well as to gain and maintain practical experience in our international methods, to better coach the wider teams and drive process improvements.

Requirements:
  • Project Set-up – Working with the internal project team and our clients, to organise and run kick off meetings, create project plans and deliver implementation packs.
  • Client and Project Management – Support project review calls (internal and external), co-ordinating and delivering on the project streams. Manage any changes to the scope of work and delivery schedule
  • Payroll Process – Define and set-up the agreed client payroll processes, establishing all the payroll and data needs. You will be processing every 1st live run yourself to ensure every aspect of the payroll is ready for transition to the iiPay Operations Team.
  • Statutory Filing setup – You will work with the client to ensure that iiPay are authorised to make all statutory submissions through the Government Gateway
  • Payment and Banking Process Definition – Work with the wider iiPay teams, partners and the client, to agree and set-up all payment and banking processes.
  • System set-up and parallel payroll process – Define, agree and configure all interfaces, reports and systems configurations to successfully deliver the payroll processes. You will be configuring both the iiPay global reporting tool, ‘GPMS’ as well as the Iris FMP payroll engine
  • Go-live transition – Work with the iiPay UK Operations Teams and Service Delivery Manager(s) to transition the payroll at go live to our business-as-usual teams
  • Sign-off and documentation – Work with the client to sign-off the project and document all the client specific needs and processes.
  • UK Legislation expert – Using your extensive experience in UK payroll, you will play a crucial role in developing our every changing product and services we deliver to our clients
  • Mentoring – Lead the team in on-boarding new starters into the organisation, guiding those less experienced through the iiPay process and supporting them through their first projects.
  • Knowledge – Demonstrate an in-depth knowledge of Implementation of outsourced payroll solutions across the world, in addition to being able to clearly demonstrate a mastery of the iiPay implementation methodology and processes.
  • Lead Innovation – Take the lead in driving change within the team and the wider organisation. Contributing heavily to the creation of a positively driven change culture within the Implementation team.
  • Motivator – Inhabits a positive outlook on developing all around them, working through challenges together and celebrating successes. Pro-actively contributes to a positive, cohesive, ‘one team’ environment within iiPay, with our In-Country Partner network and our clients.
  • Escalations – Resolves escalations within your own project work before the issue requires the attention of management. As well as actively assisting the iiPay team in resolving escalations that are not directly related to your work. Ensuring that our client satisfaction is constantly improving and adapting to the ever-changing payroll world.
  • International Supporter – Using your extensive implementation knowledge, you will act as a coach to the wider implementation teams, supporting iiPay, by also completing international implementations where required.

 

What are we looking for in you?

 

  • Experience in leading clients and internal teams through complex data driven actions/queries, changing them into achievable objectives. Ensuring that iiPay meet our deadlines and delight our customers
  • Our business Language is English, so the ability to communicate fluently in English is essential (verbal & written).
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to manage time critical tasks and to assign responsibilities to the wider iiPay teams to ensure delivery
  • Experience of using or managing payroll processes and their associated systems.
  • Experience with UK payroll implementation essential
  • Experience of working with international clients both small and large (FTSE & Fortune 500), demonstrating the ability to communicate clearly and gain trust with your client contacts
  • Highly motivated and driven professional individual with a proven track record of leading and developing others in a project team environment
  • Experience of working within a regulated (ISAE 3402 / SSAE 16) service delivery environment
  • Natural influencer, being able to motivate those around you and deliver on objectives within a time pressured environment

 

The successful applicant will ideally have experience in payroll or human capital management implementation. They should have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent communication abilities, both verbal and written, and possess a keen attention to detail.

 

They will be required to work in a global environment, with clients that have an expectation of service excellence. They should be able to demonstrate a relentless drive for delivery and customer satisfaction. They should be confident to challenge existing processes and become a driving force for how iiPay becomes better and better each day.
