iiPay has a unique opportunity for a highly experienced and motivated Senior Software Developer who wants to resolve software issues, improve the functionality of existing software and ensuring that the design, application and maintenance of software meets the quality standards of the company to help drive to our goal of ‘Paying the Planet’.
Our highly motivated and engaged team members are at the heart of our success! This role involves recommending adjustments to resolve software issues, improving the functionality of existing software, and ensuring that the design, application, and maintenance of software meets the quality standards of the company.
They should be able to evaluate the user’s needs, time limitations and system limitations when developing software, and have the desire to stay up to date on new technologies and software development practices.
They will be expected to work collaboratively with the rest of the team to support our technology objectives. This will cover all aspects of software delivery from design, implementation and process.
The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining the systems used by our payroll teams, to ensure accurate and timely delivery of our service. They will be required to work across the technology stack, therefore a solid grasp of back-end processing and reporting, security fundamentals as they relate to web-based applications, data transformation and exchange, as well as web-based user interface will all be essential.
This position is based in Cheltenham.

Industry standard qualifications or relevant higher education awards are desirable, but on the job experience the ability to demonstrate your aptitude is the most important factor for this role.
The successful applicant will ideally have experience in payroll, financial or human capital management software development. They should have the ability to become a systems expert and have experience of managing and prioritising workloads. They should have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent communication abilities, both verbal and written, and possess a keen attention to detail. They will be required to work in a global environment, with clients that have an expectation of service excellence.
