iiPay has a unique opportunity for a highly experienced and motivated Solutions Consultant who, as we increase our market share and expand globally, wants to take on the responsibility of building a team to implement and deliver payrolls to our global clients to help drive to our goal of ‘Paying the Planet’.


This position is based in Budapest.



Role Overview


As part of the Business Transformation Team the role involves working closely with every department within iiPay to ensure the technical requirements are understood and everyone is aligned for an accurate and timely delivery of the designed solution. The Solution Consultant bridges the gap between our clients’ expectations and the best in practice iiPay business processes and technology solutions.


Core Responsibilities:

  • Describing the structure, characteristics, behaviour, and other aspects of the iiPay software to project stakeholders.
  • Demonstrate a full understanding of the requested requirements and articulate clearly to key stakeholders how the requirements impact the design of the iiPay solution. Finding the best technical and process solution among all possible to solve the “To Be” business requirements
  • Defining features, phases, and solution requirements.
  • Providing specifications according to which the solution is defined, managed, and delivered.
  • Analysis of data to ensure successful transitions


Key objectives of the role


The successful candidate requires business analyst, implementation and operational delivery experience:


Payroll delivery and service level management

Champion best practice to deliver service excellence. Define a solution, ideally lead by technology which meets all expectations


Client Service

Identify Client expectations and assign iiPay Payroll Solution to the requirements


Systems & Analytical

Excellent solutions experience, advanced excel skills and high analytical skills with the ability to suggest, improve and execute on current and future systems and processes.

Ability to analyse and identify data is a critical skill requirement for this role.


Operational excellence

Individually, and as a team member, assist new sales and internal transition projects to improve the systems, processes and payroll delivery environment with the goal of maximising the efficiency and accuracy of our client interactions and ensuring a high level of client satisfaction. Design, operate, monitor and improve all end to end processes. Driven to automate complex and/or manual operations.



Managing and maintaining clear and informative communications to clients, our partners, management, implementation team and client account managers. Providing timely, insightful and consistent reporting to key stakeholders.

Ability to communicate and present technical concepts to customers and/or senior management using architectural techniques


Escalation and problem resolution

Owning, managing and resolving system/process problems and appropriate escalations, seeking help and advice where needed. Working with the management team to enhance and develop the processes and outcomes for our business



What we are looking for in you?


The successful candidate will have a minimum 2-3 years of experience in a multi-client, complex payroll environment, delivering exceptional client service.


Analytical and an excellent problem solver.


Can demonstrate ability to build strong relationships and the ability to clearly communicate in challenging situations to champion best practice.


Experience working for a global company and managing shared services.


Is assertive, decisive, with the ability to work under pressure in an extremely fast paced environment.


High level of spoken and written English essential and additional languages an advantage –


Flexibility to work across multiple time zones.


Experienced in managing budgets.


Experience of working with international clients both small and large (FTSE & Fortune 500), demonstrating the ability to communicate clearly and gain trust with your client contacts.


Highly motivated and driven professional, with excellent communication skills and a track record of delivering high levels of customer satisfaction.


Experience of working within a regulated (ISAE 3402 / SSAE 16) service delivery environment.
