Compliance in the Midst of Changing Global Payroll Regulations

Global regulations on how organizations manage their people data are expanding like never before.  While the European Union has been driving most of these to date with the legacy Safe Harbor transitioning first to Privacy Shield and now General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), there are other issues emerging globally like data localization laws which will continue to evolve and require response from those managing Personally Identifiable Information (PII).  Joe Wilson, Workday’s Chief Technology Officer – North America, will lead a brief overview of this topic and provide guidance on what to look for in HCM and payroll vendors to ensure compliance; not just in the present but for the long term.
