Gregg Scholz

Gregg Scholz is VP, HR Operations for American Express Global Business Travel (GBT). Previously Gregg provided HR project management and consulting services through Scholz HR Consulting where he leveraged his HR Operations experience to help companies identify and implement scalable HR solutions.

Before venturing into the consulting world Gregg led the HR Operations function at TripAdvisor. He joined TripAdvisor in 2011 to build out its HR Operations function in preparation for its successful spin off from Expedia and subsequently led the Benefits, Payroll, L&D, Employee Communications, Mobility and HRIS functions on a global basis.

Prior to joining TripAdvisor, Gregg worked in a variety of human resource positions at Travelport, a Blackstone Group owned portfolio business specializing in technology services for the travel industry. During his time with Travelport Gregg was responsible for the Global HR Systems and Americas Benefits functions at this multinational company.

Gregg received a Bachelor’s degree from Rutgers College and currently resides in the Boston, MA area.
